BUYER BEWARE UPDATE! The FACE CREAM SCAMS SEEM To EXPAND! A FEW TIPS TO AVOID BEING RIPPT OFF!

I have notice a surge in both searches of various skin care products under various names. They CHANGE BOTH PRODUCTS AND  LOCATIONS. The BILLING seems to be done in Nevada or Florida, but the products come from warehouses in Florida, California and NJ.!

Reading the many recent comments, it looks  most banks which were willing to investigate and REFUND their clients the losses, NO longer help or investigate these economic crimes! I am assuming they are overwhelmed by the numbers of people scammed.

Under these sad circumstances, I suggest:

Immediately CHANGE the credit card, so further charges may not go through.

If you could put the charges on a card with  a VERY low limit so they will not have the chance to charge more money.

Frankly, IF IT LOOKS TOO GOOD IT IS !

DO NOT give your information to these shady companies asking for shipping costs ONLY. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR CARD NUMBERS TO CHARGE MORE.

Finally, I think we all need to see where are the locations of these scams and make complaints to FTC and also at their respective State levels.

Each state gas an ECONOMIC FREUD DEPARTMENT which  must to be alerted s the scam, it seems expanded internationally.

These were just some ideas I hope help.

When I first wrote about Rejuva and DM creams  and what happened to me, I had NO idea my share will help so many people.

  1. I too was sucked in to this scam. I have paid once since they were no where to be found! Then today i recieved two more parcels containing the same stuff! i was billed 175.66 and 184.25 wow!!! I will be returning it monday, the bad news is I called my credit card company and they put in a dispute immediately, but I have to contact the company to try and get my money back! I dont have a lot so this is a huge hardship I am just sick! If its too good to be true, there is a reason. Will keep working on it, time it takes time!!!!

  2. I too have become a victim. I am still online with my credit card company.(1hr 15 min and counting). they decline to dispute the second set of charges as it is in the fine print that they charge you again in 15 days but don’t ship for 45.. LOL..so cancelling means you still pay but you don’t get any product.. WHOOPEE!!
But I ALSO have a set of charges from a SECOND (related)company, which I did NOT sign up with and they say it is “normal” for these kind of companies to have RELATED companies– sometimes 3 or 4 of them and they don’t want to bother to dispute this either as it is a “waste of time”.

What ever happened to consumer protection? It is definitely back to BUYER BEWARE.. read ALL the fine print and even then you may not be protected.

Mine is Rejuva Essence, billing as RejuvaEssence and LumaEssence (the un-orderd one) villing as SkinEssential Reading.

    • Update – My bank – Toronto Dominion – TD Bank – does not consider this to be fraudulent behaviour – they said I should have searched by phone number on google and noted that Rejuva Essence had related companies.
      Oh boy!

      • I suggest to cancel your card so they don’t have your information fur future charges and have a new card issued to you.
Everyone who is just catching up with this scam, please read all posts and related comments. The information you need is already here.
